EMBROIDERED PORTRAITS
These pieces were created as a means of exploring portraits through embroidery.
My first attempt at an embroidered portrait, using cross-stitch on super fine matte fabric.
I picked cross-stitch because it is one of my favourite techniques and is very mathematical.
I wanted to experiment with colour blending in this technique.
