Props for Act Without Words

I came up with a concept for the space and my interpretation of the play made me create another character. The play is written specifically for for theaters with a flying system, to lower and lift objects as needed. I had no void above the stage, no the fly system, but I figured that was the point, stage magic, an invisible exerting an unseen influence on the life of the character, the actor. I brought in a "Theatre technician", who instead of flying stuff away and  hidden from the public's eye, he was there but unseen by the "Man".
"The Man" and the "Theatre Technician"
I found this kind of extra thick packing cardboard which I loved. The material was perfect as it could withstand a persons body weight and it was super light weight. I considered making the boxes like bottle separations with it, but an attempt at doing so was an absolute failure.
Instead, I just stacked and glued it together, in the three different sizes I needed, and it was still lightweight enough for handling.

I had so much fun with this project, I hope I can one day recreate it and remember to record it.

Thank you for viewing!

How I approached the adaptation of "Act Without Words I" by Samuel Beckett, to compensate the lack of a fly system and the props I made.
