The Tattooist Of Auschwitz + The Underground Railroad:
The visual series are shown through having the same colour palette, typefaces and illustration style. Both serif and hand-written fonts are chosen for the title. Serif font are used to set out the tone of the book and attract readers from the genre while the feeling of freedom in the handwritten font do not only indicate what the protagonist seek but also give out some hint that there is romance in the storyline. The titles are cut outs, with a hint of red colour underneath it, suggesting that there is an involvement
of power and desire in the book. Barbed wire and weather vane are the graphics for the book covers as they give readers some idea about the book instead of giving the whole story away. To entice the readers to pick up the books, not only are the illustrations spread over the whole cover, the arrow on the weather vane and the barbs on the barbed wire are embossed to give out some textures.
