Calathea on repeat

Calathea on repeat is a project that started from my passion for tropical plants.
I chose the calathea plant because it is a plant that moves for twenty-four hours and because it exists in different types. Because of the movement that intrigued me, I started taking twenty-four hours photos of my calathea. I myself have four calathea plants at home, the Triostar, Roseopicta, Orbifolia & amabilis.
The images were therefore created from these four plants.

These images found their place in the publication calathea on repeat. The publication has twenty-four images, six of each calathea. The Japanese pleat was also used in the publication, which for me represented the leaf of the plant. That is why the inside of the leaves are also printed with images.
